I'm not usually a fan of hotel restaurants, but this one is an exception. The food is excellent and very well-executed, and the service is attentive and professional. The bar is one of the best in the city. The bartenders are very knowledgeable. I ordered a couple of pre-prohibition cocktails that almost always trip up even bartenders at nicer places, but not only did they know exactly how to make it, they even offered their own slightly modified versions. The bar selection tends toward premium (well above top shelf) and rare liquors. The wine list is also very good, with lots of excellent options ranging from affordable to exceptionally high-end. Both the restaurant and the bar are definitely worth a visit, even if you're not staying at the hotel.

My husband and I went here on a while Halloween night and am I glad we did! Phil was our server and he was, hands down amazing. He gave us wonderful recommendations and was very attentive without being too pushy. My husband had the 21 day dry aged prime topped with blue cheese, and it was to die for. The bread with trio of butters was a very nice touch. I had the waygu, while it wasn't the same as a Japanese A5, it was very tender and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered raw oysters and they were some of the best east coast oysters we've had in colorado. Definitely recommended! Ask to sit in Phil's section!

Just WOW! I had some important clients in town for a convention and made pre-arrangements for the Butcher Block private dining room. Everything was so well coordinated from the pre-planning with the event planner and advanced consultation with Chef Najib the day prior. He came up with a spectacular 4 course meal with with pairings by the sommelier that truly wowed my guests. Here are some photos .. sorry I was so excited about the scallop dish that I dove in before taking the photo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Chef Najib is new there and wow what a great hire! Thank you for making a truly special night for me and my guests.

Steak was awful. 14oz strip was cooked rare, not med rare, and was cold on the outside by the time it got to me (like it was sitting on the plate for 10 minutes). No real seasoning and certainly no crust. Toughest strip I've ever had, and at $77 for a 14 ouncer (sans any sides), it better be tender. Their old fashioned was way too sweet, and tasted like Robitussin. Maybe they slipped on the demerera syrup? Service was excellent, though! Very nice ambience/atmosphere. The sides were great, especially the Brussels sprouts and truffle Mac. Fries were good but overly salty, and the whipped mash were very good as well. Appetizers were all good, especially the burrata salad and the bread. I'd come back, but wouldn't get a steak. For a place that bills itself as a steakhouse, there was no excuse for the strip to be this bad.
