  Ordered a bakers dozen with 2 shmear tubs, and added on a 3rd shmear tub. When the delivery came there was only one shmear tub in the box. (3 tubs won’t fit in the box and would have required a separate bag). When I called this location they asked if I could drive to pick up the missing items and I explained why I couldn’t,…I was hosting a breakfast meeting. The employee said “Sorry”, and hung up on me. I understand that they’re not staffed to send someone to replace the missing items. But hanging up on me was their proposed resolution? I’m now ordering breakfast for the other 6 people who don’t want to gnaw on bagels with no shmear (cream cheese). Doesn’t take an Einstein to know this is horrible customer service.

  Be so for real… Every time I order from here on DoorDash, it seems like they add more cream in lieu of coffee in the cold brew. The coffee I received this morning had maybe an espresso shot of cold brew and the rest was all flavoring/cream. Their DoorDash page doesn’t let you specify how much cream or flavoring to add so I’m stuck with a morning milkshake. 😑 I used to order from here weekly but since this has progressively gotten worse I’ll pass.

  If mornings had a survival kit, Einstein Bros. Bagels - 18th & Franklin would be step one. This location is consistently on point. The bagels are fresh, the coffee is strong enough to restore basic human function, and my order is correct even when I am operating on pure vibes. The toasted cranberry bagel with cream cheese deserves its own standing ovation. Warm, perfectly toasted, just sweet enough, and somehow emotionally supportive. I order it thinking breakfast and leave feeling like I made one solid life decision that day. Shoutout to the management and team because this place runs smoothly, cheerfully, and without chaos. Friendly, efficient, and clearly well led. Great management, great energy, and proof that excellent leadership pairs beautifully with carbs. Five stars and zero regrets (even if I am gluten and lactose intolerant).
