    Showed up late to a party. Stood at the table trying to flag down a waitress with no luck. Spoke to a bartender, asked for a drink, was told unless I had a seat at the bar, they wouldn't serve me. Waited around for 30 minutes with no one serving me. Spent no money, got to try no food or drinks, and left disappointed.

    The food here has always been great and the service isn’t out of this world but is adequate. Sunday evening in particular it got busy i’m assuming given the all day happy hour, and our waitress had JUST cashed us out when we were then asked to leave to seat a bigger party. This is the first time this happens here but definitely a bad taste given we had barely paid and I was finishing up my drink and we’re essentially told to hurry up. If those tables weren’t available maybe we shouldn’t have been sat there? Nonetheless I don’t believe anybody appreciates being asked to leave even if my dinner was seemingly done, we were set to leave anyways. They did say we could move to the bar but moving was inconvenient. So if you want to be rushed out of your seat (when you’re already done with dinner and are about to leave anyways) come here!

    Sorry Im not a fan at all. First of all lets talk about service. I had to ask multiple times for ice. Our food came out at different times. When I say different times I mean one side of the table got their food 20 minutes faster than the other. They serve drinks in tiny glasses with no ice. I only ordered shrimp tempora and it was really not yummy. The atmosphere is nice but I really was not a fan at all. Id say spend your money somewhere else. Even though service was subpar our server was kind.

    I’m vegetarian so vegan sushi is hard to come by. This restaurant not only makes delicious vegan sushi but they have so many options as well. I got the Thai Hippie roll and it was one of the best things I’ve ever ate. My partner was impressed as well and he is hard to please. Our server Ashton(?) was lovely and had wonderful energy. The ambience is nice and it was easy to get to with the free 16th street bus. Could not recommend this place enough.

    Let me start out by saying that I love this place- sushi here is great (the reason I am giving 2 stars or this would be 1). However- when you do a takeout order in person, they ask for your phone number but don’t tell you that they won’t actually text you. So they tell us 30-40 minutes, so we go walk around assuming that since they’ve asked for our number, they’re going to text us. An hour later we go back in, naturally confused, and he says “yeah we actually don’t have the ability to text you’. All fine, but tell people this as the roll I ordered has panko crumbs that become VERY soggy when left sitting. Very disappointing as I’ve recommended this place to so many people, have spent probably hundreds of dollars here, and was now forced to wait an hour before receiving soggy sushi. To add insult to injury, our raw fish sushi was sitting at room temp in a paper bag for over 30 minutes. Gross. Just be up front with your customers as this was easily avoidable and a frequent customer will not be returning or recommending any further.
