Cannot get over how incredible my experience was. Ra, Polo, Rob, and Emily were some of the best service I’ve ever had and the drinks and food made the experience so much better. 12/10 and will definitely be back!

Overall this place was okay, but I don’t think I would return. It is a very clean and well looking restaurant located very close to Coors Field. I found it by walking by and stopped in! At first I thought it was set up for an event and nobody was inside other than the DJ. We were not greeted by anyone and almost walked out because there was no staff and no host. I felt like I was intruding on a private event.
We were eventually saw a staff member who told us to sit anywhere. The service was extremely slow. Especially with only one or two other tables in the entire place it was hard to justify how long everything took. I have worked in restaurants and understand wait times when it can get busy. However, our server only checked on us very minimally (ordering, dropping off our food, and the check).
The food had good potential, but was just okay. Especially after waiting for so long it seemed like a let down. Again, good potential but not great.
We got the steak and eggs and a breakfast sandwhich. The “toast” with the steak and eggs was just plain bread, untoasted with no butter or jam on it or offered on the side. Over easy eggs were completely overcooked. The steak was cooked perfectly though and tasted very good!
The breakfast sandwhich was decent. Bagel tasted fresh and light, but again don’t think it was toasted at all. The sandwhich was good, but I could get that at any coffee shop for the same quality. Overall the food just felt underwhelming and not what we would have expected at a more upscale restaurant downtown.
If I was local I might give it a second chance, but to me it is not worth going back when I’m only in Denver for a few weeks out of the year and I enjoyed my experiences much more elsewhere.

Absolutely loved both the dinner and breakfast here. Tyler served me for dinner, was very friendly, and made an amazing caramel latte!! For breakfast, I was served by Caroline, and she was very sweet and friendly, and also double checked with me on how everything was and what I wanted. Again, amazing lattes!! Pancakes were really tasty, house made, and loved the vanilla bean cream! Best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time.

Let me start by saying that Emily was wonderful. Very personable and funny. Was very attentive to our table. She actually made our first visit somewhat enjoyable. The fried pickles are stellar and th3 drinks were good. Here is where things went south. It was not overly busy or anything. We ordered two (2) burgers and the Red Bird Chicken. The restaurant is very open so you can see the cooks in the kitchen. We saw our burgers come up under the heat lamps and they sat there for a little over 15 minutes while the manager spoke with the cooks. They finally brought them to us. At this point they were no longer cooked medium, they were well done and dry. The fries were like warm and the bun was crunchy. Not Good. The chicken took another 5 or 10 minutes with a side salad. And it was dry. Do not get me wrong it is not the amount of time it took, it is the quality of the food. If the chicken takes 30min to make then start that and wait to cook the burgers so there is better Quality is all. Definitely not in a rush to go back. 😞#amblerdenver, @amblerdenver, #BlackbirdFLY

While the restaurant’s ambiance and our server’s performance were exceptional, the overall dining experience particularly in terms of portion sizes was disappointing. For example, my $25 red chicken entrée included only three small pieces, roughly the size of hot wings, which felt inconsistent with the value you might expect for that price.
Although the drinks were well-made, they didn’t fully make up for the shortcomings of the meal. Additionally, my companions’ burgers were finished well before my dish and were left under a heat lamp for about 15 minutes. As a result, the buns became hard and the meat dried out, suggesting a lapse in kitchen timing and workflow, as longer-preparation items are typically started first to ensure everything is served fresh together.
We do appreciate that management offered a discount on our meal. However, the portion size left me still hungry, and I ended up getting additional food elsewhere afterward. At this point, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon for the food perhaps only for drinks. As a “Blackbird” member, I hope this feedback is helpful, as it’s currently difficult to recommend this restaurant for its dining experience.
