    We’ve visited many Subway locations, and this is the only one where we’ve noticed an owner micromanaging employees and limiting standard portions. The employees appear anxious and hesitant to provide what most customers would consider normal. We request less of many of the ingredients, but as soon as we ask for more lettuce or something standard like that, the owner gets visibly upset. I once asked for extra pepper and received what can only be described as a death stare. A few months ago, I politely asked for a bit more marinara on my meatball sandwich. The owner berated the employee, making her cry. On another visit, an employee added more meat than apparently permitted, so the owner removed half of it in front of us. When we received inaccurate online orders, the owner said if we want accurate sandwiches, we should order in person. On our last and final visit, the guacamole portion was noticeably less than what’s shown on the Subway menu photo. I asked if a bit more could be added to better match the image. The employee began to do so, but the owner intervened and said it would cost extra. I politely and clearly declined. She then abruptly instructed the employee to add it anyway. I didn’t know if she changed her mind and agreed it needed more or if she was being passive aggressive. We were subsequently charged $2.89 for what amounted to a small additional spread, maybe 50 cents worth. When I reminded them I declined extra guac, I was told it could not be removed, so I said I don’t want the sandwich. Instead of resolving the problem, she quickly escalated it and accused me of yelling at her staff. This is completely baseless and asinine, and every one of her staff members know I never got irritated with any of them. I always held my peace as the owner exuded friction and frustration. Corporate needs to know she berates her staff and now her customers. She should not accuse polite customers of her own anger management problems. Throughout all of this, we have never asked for free items or special treatment. We are a family of five who have given this location consistent business and remained polite during every interaction, even when employees were being reprimanded in front of us. We always cleaned up after ourselves. We always showed appreciation. The final straw was being publicly accused of yelling at staff, when she is the one who mistreats employees. Not only did I not yell at her staff, I kept my cool with her. We will be taking our business elsewhere and encouraging friends to do the same.

    Megan is seriously amazing! She’s super friendly, quick, and always makes sure your order is perfect. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into her work, and it makes the whole experience way better. She’s genuinely so sweet! I certainly be coming back!
