Review for Rosati Pizza
This was our first visit to Rosati Pizza, and overall it was a solid experience with a few important caveats. The manager, Justine—who also happens to be an executive chef—was very receptive to feedback and genuinely cared about our experience. She even asked us not to judge them solely on our first visit and kindly provided a gift certificate, which we appreciated and will absolutely take them up on.
From a food standpoint, the pizza experience was excellent. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate it a strong 9. The quality is definitely there. That said, the pricing is simply too high for me personally. An 18-inch, three-topping pizza was $34.49, which feels steep. For comparison, another Italian sports bar restaurant we frequent charges $28.50 for an 18-inch, three-topping pizza. While Rosati Pizza delivers quality, the value at that price point just doesn’t work for me.
As a business owner myself, I understand the delicate balancing act of pricing—covering labor, food costs, rent, and everything else, especially in today’s economy. I don’t believe Rosati Pizza is gouging customers; I recognize the pressures they’re dealing with. It’s simply a personal value decision.
From a sports-bar perspective, one thing they do extremely well is TV placement. There truly isn’t a bad seat in the house when it comes to watching a game. They have TVs everywhere and large, impressive screens at the front, making it easy to follow any sporting event from virtually anywhere in the restaurant.
It’s also worth noting that this is a smaller venue, so while it works well for small to medium groups, it likely can’t comfortably accommodate very large parties.
Another important point for sports fans: Rosati Pizza is clearly a Pittsburgh Steelers bar. If you’re a Steelers fan, you’ll probably feel right at home. If you’re a Denver Broncos fan (like we are), this likely isn’t the place to watch a game unless the Steelers aren’t playing. That’s not a complaint—just useful information for setting expectations.
There were also some service and operational issues worth mentioning. We tried calling ahead several times to confirm they could accommodate our party of five. Each call went straight to voicemail with a recorded message stating they were not making pizzas to go, with no option to leave a message and no way to reach a live person. The message essentially discouraged calling altogether. This was frustrating, especially since when we arrived, the restaurant clearly was not very busy and could have answered the phone if they chose to. Every other restaurant we frequent answers their phone, so this stood out.
Once seated, our waitress, Heather (I believe that was her name), had to ask us repeatedly for our order. I gently suggested using a pen and paper to help keep things organized. These are small, fixable issues, but they do affect first impressions.
That said, because of how professionally the manager handled our feedback, we will be returning for a second visit. I plan to update or amend this review after that visit to be fair and see whether these early issues have been addressed.

Hey great legit Chicago tavern style and deep dish. The Italian Beef is very good as well. It seems the place is much busier than expected, which is a great problem to have. It is very busy during the dinner hours. I have always been able to find a seat at the bar. Service is great. Food does take awhile but, it should because it’s legit. Deep dish takes at least 45 to cook. If you are looking for the best pizza in. Colorado, this is the place. If you have a simple pizza taste, like Dominos, Little Ceasers, Papa Murphy’s, Pizza Hut, etc. this may not be the place for you. I also used catering here and it was awesome.
I have been waiting for them to open and was excited to try the food. This was a huge let down. I ordered for pickup, I got "will be ready in 40 minutes". Okay no problem may have been busy. I got there at my pick up time. My pizza was sitting on the shelf, I'm not sure how long it was sitting there but it was cold when I got home even though it sits on a hot table shelf. My garlic bread was not done, one of the wait staff had to show the other I ordered it on the computer. I was told it would be 5 more minutes, almost 10 minutes later it finally came out. I took home hot bread with cold pizza and got to pay 34.00 for it.
Food was sub-par, with cold pizza hard to tell but very lean on sauce and toppings. A lot more veggies verse sausage. Garlic bread had way too much garlic, but when you are rushed to get a batch made that was forgotten I guess you really do not watch what you are doing.
When I walked in, no one said anything or welcomed me, I waited a minute and a staff member asked me if i had a pick up order. I smiled at a few wait people and nothing. The owner was running around and putting wheels on a cart, even though I stood there for 10 minutes still nothing not even from him to customer standing around. No checking in, no sorry for the wait, nothing, and he did pass me the times.
Very poor customer service, was not busy at all, food poorly done, late and cold, with no apology from anyone.
This was a Wednesday mid day, not a busy weekend, so no excuses except you can not run a business with customers in mind.
I will not be back and I will not recommend.
3hrs delivery on a mislead 75min told eta is UNACCEPTABLE. You have all the info to SIMPLY call customers who will experience unreasonable delays. Policies and procedures are a real part of business, please review yours. Ordered 12/28/25 Sunday 5:15pm, pizza arrives 8:15pm. Driver tells me there's 2 total delivery drivers that's been washing dishes all evening and has only delivered 3 pizzas for the night cause the restaurant will only prioritize dine in customers, stated deliveries and pick ups have zero priorities (just like the other disgruntled customer reviews). Driver patiently stood in 18 degree weather on my porch for 20 minutes while I was tossed around on the phone demanding my card not get charged while I declined the unexpected 3hr food delivery. Driver was nice enough to leave the cold pizza so I tipped him cash and said that's the most he made all night cause the other 3 deliveries were HOURS LATE also. Pizza sat in the box so long that the boxes became unmanageable and soggy (pizza might as well fall through), especially the deep dish. We both shared a laugh, he was very apologetic. Don't know if the pizza is good or not, was soggy and cold.
Instead responding to your many 1 star reviews "your review is invaluable, we'll share this with our team" (like a broken record), you should actually see the common denominator what others are complaining about and fix the same issues you're repeating. Misleading customers is a fast way to go out of business.
We waited over 2 hours from the time we ordered to actually receive our pizza, even though we were originally quoted 75 minutes. Unfortunately, the wait wasn’t worth it. The pizza wasn’t very good and the texture was almost rubbery while eating. The dough nuggets were bland and really needed more flavor or seasoning.
The location was extremely packed, even just to pick up and online order. They definitely should have opted for a larger space to handle the volume of customers. I also think the company as a whole should seriously consider implementing an order tracking system, because then we wouldn’t have had to physically go there and stand around waiting and waiting for our order.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we probably won’t return since it didn’t feel worth the time or money.
