  I’m writing because I had a very upsetting experience at the CAVA restaurant in Castle Rock on Saturday, January 10th, and I feel it’s important someone is aware of what happened. We were simply there for lunch, and what should have been an easy, casual meal turned into an uncomfortable and honestly shocking situation. The manager on duty, Brandi, became visibly angry and aggressive throwing spoons and bowls, slamming kitchen doors, and appearing completely unhinged by having to get us fresh batch of lentils. It was intimidating, and extremely unsettling to be the target of this behavior. She was also openly rude and hostile towards my daughter and her friend, which was especially upsetting given we were just trying to enjoy lunch together. In addition, what stood out was how uncomfortable the employees seemed several appeared intimidated and even fearful, which made the entire restaurant feel toxic. This all happened while many other customers were present. As we were leaving, a couple other women came up to us and acknowledged how badly we were treated and to share that they had similar experiences with the same manager a few minutes earlier, It was clear this wasn’t an isolated incident. I’m not someone who often complains, but this situation felt bigger than poor service. I left genuinely concerned for the staff, for customers, and for the overall environment in that restaurant. We do really like this restaurant and hopefully there can be some positive changes but until then we will not be coming back in

  Very niiiiiiice! The specific shade of cement here reminded me a bit of my grandmothers basement. However My grandmother had a rug with trains on it. There was no rug here and no train decals. That’s the only downside. I would really like to see a train themed establishment in this location, or if cava could change their business model. I thing this could really fit into their whole schtick, I’m imagining the employees wearing suspenders and conductor hats. Maybe the sound of a horn whenever anyone makes a purchase? Daily train themed performance art pieces would elevate the experience. Nonetheless the food was good and the facilities were clean. Great stop on the way home from the trans-American train exhibit in Denver which I would also give 5 stars to.

  Today was the worst experience I have ever had with Cava. Usually, it’s great. Today, I ordered through Door Dash. I didn’t receive my drink. The driver said Cava knew that they didn’t have it, so I need to “talk to the store.” You know, since it wasn’t his problem. Weirdly, they did deliver 2 straws. Additionally, pictures of the bowl I received are attached. Completely burnt falafels, no tomato and cucumber, no fiery broccoli, etc. In other words, not what I ordered and inedible with burnt falafels. Also unfortunately, I can’t get refunded for this entirely unacceptable experience since I complained initially about the drink and really rude driver before I realized the entire bowl was wrong and inedible. I also can’t get refunded the tip for horrific service. All around- a completely awful experience with Cava and DoorDash. It used to be great. 100% downhill. Super sad!

  I used to come here a lot when I lived in the springs, but I had to move to Denver so it's been a while since I was able to come back, but I'm very happy I visited today! Out of all the Cava's I've been to this is the best one. They're always busy but the employees and managers are clearly hard workers. This is absolutely the cleanest and most efficient Cava I've been to, and the workers always treat me with kindness and respect. I've been coming here for two years and it gets better with every visit. I developed a dairy allergy recently but I talked to Karina and Jayce and they were very helpful with explaining everything accommodating for me. Thank you Cava!

  We went to the CAVA in Castle Rock because we were already in the area and love the Greenwood Village location. Unfortunately, this experience was a huge disappointment. We walked in around 7:30 pm and noticed right away that all of the toppings were moved to the back counter and staff were cleaning the cold bar. It honestly looked like they were closing, so I checked the hours to make sure. They didn’t close until 10 pm, which made it feel strange that cleanup was already happening. After ordering, I went to the restroom and it was super dirty. The toilet was covered in pee, there was no toilet paper, and the trash can was overflowing with paper towels. The soda machine was also down. The dining room wasn’t any better. There was food and trash all over the floor, the tables were sticky and clearly hadn’t been wiped down, and the trash cans were completely full. To top it off, the meat and rice in our bowls were cold. We usually have great experiences at CAVA, but this location really missed the mark. Cleanliness, basic upkeep, and food quality should not be optional, especially during normal business hours.
