  I don't usually write reviews but I felt I needed to. The Food has gone down hill. We used to eat here quite a bit but stopped for a little. We decided to get takeout here before we move out of state. I wish we would've just skipped. Ceaser salad wasn't dressed and was almost hot (we picked it up prior to the scheduled time). The beef dip was incredibly tough and the bread was soggy. It was more or less an inedible meal. We will not be returning or recommending this restaurant anymore. This place used to be exceptional and we're not sure what happened, but it was a disappointment.

  We frequent Bucket List Tavern here in Castle Rock, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for good food and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. I’ve tried quite a few things on the menu, and there really isn’t much you can go wrong with. A few standouts for me are the Cobb salad, the beef dip, their all-you-can-eat wings, and their newer breakfast menu—especially the corned beef hash. What really sets this place apart though is the atmosphere and the people. It’s a casual spot with games always on, good energy, and a crowd that makes it feel welcoming. It can get a little lively at times, but that’s part of what makes it a great place to hang out—not somewhere you go for a silent, formal dinner, but perfect for relaxing and enjoying time with friends or family. We’re there often with my daughter and her friends, and it’s become a regular meeting place for our group. The staff is always friendly, and the owner, Joel, is very involved. He takes time to engage with customers and genuinely cares about the local community—he even helped support a fundraiser for my daughter’s softball team, which meant a lot to us. If you’re looking for a great local spot in Castle Rock with good food and a welcoming vibe, Bucket List Tavern is a solid choice.

  Underwhelming experience. Went for breakfast and got some watered down coffee and unimpressive pancakes. I understand they're going through a transition to Doug's diner, but this was not good and I'm not inclined to go back

  Loved sitting on the patio with our great dane. The servers were all so kind and accomodating to our pup. Dry rub wings and pretzel were great. They have a good happy hour menu!
