  I would never go back. The food was fair. And we were charged $5 more per drink than printed on the menu. When questioned, the server said the prices had changed but the menu wasn’t updated. Beware!

  The atmosphere at Pines Bar and Grill is amazing! It appears to attract a wonderful, fun loving crowd with the live music. There were also 2 bday parties the night we went. The staff was also very friendly and quick, even being an unusually busy night. They made space for us even if it meant finding any spare chairs remaining, lol! The food was also very good. The smashed onion burger and cheese curds were amazing! The kids loved their pizza. The pancake noodles were a fav as well. The drinks were very tasty! The spicy burger could have used more sauce, but was also good.

  I was assaulted here (choked by a drunk guy against a wall) in April 2025. While having to navigate the legal system to prove self-defense, I learned that the cameras in this establishment only serve as a live-stream to the owner’s phone so that he can monitor his staff. The cameras do not record and, should you be a victim of a crime, are not able to be turned over to police. While some of the bartenders (like Gino) are awesome, you must accept that the Pines is not invested in preserving your own saftey. Should you eat or dine here and anything were to happen, you’re completely on your own without any ability to relay on security footage or the first-hand witness accounts of staff.

  Was hopeful for a new good neighborhood spot, however we came in during an afternoon, literally one other table there with two waitresses for the restaurant. We had to ask for our food to be brought from expo area and go up to bar to ask for refills on our drinks… If this is how it is when there are only two tables in the restaurant, can’t imagine how it is if it’s actually busy. Truly unfortunate and reinforces our decision to cook at home

  Food was great, service not so much. We ordered pick up online. Arrived about 5 minutes before our order was supposed to be ready. We left about 30 minutes after that. They seemed short staffed, only saw 2 people running around during a dinner rush. Food is also pretty pricey for bar food, but at the same time the quality is pretty good for bar food. We live within a block, so we might be back.
