  Reece was a pleasure!! Fantastic service. We haven't been since Sept.. and wow. We usually come for the oysters and then also eat a meal. The food has always been good. But tonight the food was exceptional. Hunk of fish and scallops will definitely have us back sooner this time.

  If you’re in boulder and looking for great customer experience and great food, Jax is the real deal. The food was outstanding, super fresh, well-crafted, and every bit as good as the reputation suggests. But what made the night truly special was the people. Lauren and Emmett behind the bar was an absolute pleasure to talk to, and Jack gave genuinely great advice on what to order. The new menu is definitely one to check out! I got grilled broccoli, smoked salmon dip, anchovy toast, carpaccio, and finished with the olive oil cake with homemade buttermilk ice cream. So that kind of attentive, knowledgeable service is hard to find. Highly recommend so just go!!

  Our server Brent was amazing. Had tons of insight into our meal w perfect recommendations. He was present and always looking to make our experience easy and looked after our small kids. We will be back and looking for Brent. #1 server in Boulder!!
