CONSTANTLY EXPIRED FOOD
There is so much expired food in this store especially in produce and bread. I’ve had to return bread, cheese, and meats I’ve bought because there is mold on them or they are weeks past their expiration date. I’ve gotten in a habit now of checking every item I buy to make sure there isn’t mold on it or past the expiration date. This has been a constant problem I’ve noticed the past two years. Crazy that you go grocery shopping and have to assume everything is moldy and past their expiration date. If you go here take the time to make sure your groceries are still good.

This location switched to new card readers at the self-checkouts recently, and how in the world do they not work with my Apple and Google pay??? Wild, will not be returning anytime soon. Considering how widely used this payment method is these days, it's insane you guys are letting this fly.

For the second year in a row, I have shopped Safeway to take advantage of their free Turkey if you spend a $100 and for the second year in a row, I had to wait 10 minutes at the checkout stand because they mislead people by putting the free Turkey sign above the Butterball turkeys, so people put Butterball turkeys into their carts, instead of the ACTUAL free Turkey, which is a honeysuckle brand. The cashier was clearly tired of customers being tricked and I was offended.
It is so disrespectful to try and trick people into paying for a Turkey they are planning on using a coupon for, only to discover that they do this routinely, its really disappointing. I almost always shop at king soopers due to their cheaper prices anyways and I definitely won't be going back to safeway.
