Had dinner at Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant and really enjoyed it. It’s a great classic Mexican restaurant with a fun, lively atmosphere. I ordered the carnitas burrito, which was a huge portion — I couldn’t even finish it, especially with the side of rice and beans. The birria tacos were on point, and the chips and salsa were also very good. Great place to satisfy a Mexican food craving in Boulder, especially if you’re looking for a casual, energetic dinner spot.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Charice was so welcoming and amazing. Came in for a quick bite between events on a busy Saturday and they were able to seat us rather quickly. As always the food was amazing but the staff made the experience so much better. Thank you Rio grande for never disappointing.

Our meal was delicious fresh and healthy ! Server gave me a great margarita just to my taste! TJ the General Managers was amazing and very attentive! Can’t wait to come back and try more items on seasonal menu!
