I tried to walk into this Chipotle to order lunch and could not as they were only accepting online orders for pickup. First off, why??? Second off, the online ordering UI is incredibly hard to use. I gave up trying to order and went to Illegal Pete's, which was wonderful!

My experience today that pushed me to writing a review is unfortunately too common at this location. The food: burned chicken, no veggies, 1 type of rice, dirty lettuce, and just overall inconsistencies with other locations. The service and atmosphere: REALLY depends on who’s working. It seems that the college-aged and older employees are very attentive and hardworking, know what they’re doing. The kids that look like they’re in high school would rather be anywhere else and make sure you know it. The restaurant itself is usually clean, but in a rush it gets to looking very dirty around the drink area and dining room, understandably.I expected the hill location to be worse than the 29th st. Chipotle due to the volume of people coming in and out every day, but this spot is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever had, every time. My experience today for example: I go inside at about 5 pm. There is a line of four or five people ahead of me, so it took ~ten minutes to get to the front. The girls on the line provided very bad service. Brown rice empty, white rice barely filled up. I get a laughable portion of rice, then ask for only a little bit of black beans please and get a massive scoop. No fajita veggies left. They put more salsa than rice, mumble everything, fully put wrong things on your bowl, and you have to ask them for extra of everything if you don’t want your bowl half empty. There is one girl that works there who will always give you perfect portions and double check that the scoop is good with you before putting it in the bowl which I really appreciate! I’d honestly give it one star if not for the staff that does work hard and do their best with what they’re given at this subpar store. Everyone I know, including myself, would never go here over another location if it wasn’t for our ability to walk over in a couple minutes vs. having to drive over to 29th. Just because it’s all college students shouldn’t result in this type of disregard for quality.

I asked for double protein. It looks like I got a half scoop of last week’s chicken scraps.
