Annette needs a customer sensitivity training. Not only is she rude and impatient but she also alienates customers. I watched her accuse two different people of stealing during the hour I was there. On top of that, when she wants someone's attention, she says "SIR SIR SIR," every .2 seconds so you can't even respond. Then she repeats herself 5 times like she thinks everyone is stupid. I love Safeway, but ill avoid this one until she gets put in a home.

Last night at about 10:30 my husband and I went into Safeway to quickly get some things for dinner and needed to use the restroom. I have bladder problems and was literally begging the manager who was working at the time (she had glasses and her hair was in a pony tail) to please let me into the locked restroom. I was literally crying and she refused to open the door for me citing “safety issues.” I understand if that is a normal thing they do but it was a health emergency. She refused to stop and talk with me, instead she decided to continue to walk away from me as I was begging to be let in. She had no empathy and was so rude to me by not listening to what I had to say. My husband and I ended up not getting the groceries we needed and had to leave to race back home so I could use the bathroom. This is completely unacceptable and it was embarrassing to be treated like I was less than human. Something needs to be done about this, that manager should not treat costumers this way and should have had some empathy for me. It seemed like she was racing to close down the store and anything that was slowing her down was dismissible to her.

What would be nice is to see something other than a canned response to a review. If you honestly wanted to resolve these issues you would take the time to address them or actually email your customers.

Svetlana is rude and degrading. Rolls her eyes and sighs when you ask to split a payment. Sorry that times are hard and I needed to use two forms of payments to pay for groceries. I didnt need to feel humiliated on top of everything else. Ill just go to King Soopers down the road instead if that's the kind of employees you have.

Won't ever shop this place again after 8 1/2 years. 2 women having a conversation in the self checkout about "them." The Mgr says they got money, our sales are up 33% today, "no foodstamps." So they got money. I asked who is they? And "Karen the cashier" says we are having a private conversation sir. Only they weren't, it was Outloud and in the self check out and the racist overtones were evident. There is a video Karen took as she flung my bagged groceries accross to the other checkstand and proceeded to call the cops on me. I hope someone at corporate sees it and then explains to me why I should ever spend a penny there again. Her half hearted attempt to convince me it wasn't a racist snipe was that she was talking About her aunt Helen. I asked oh you mean Ms Keller. Her response " you called my mother Helen Keller." All of this while other one screams security and shoves her phone in my face. In the video you will see me calmly ask, I thought it was your aunt, now its your mother. Its pathetic, I look Hispanic which was noted as I was being told to never come back to "her" store or I'd be arrested. Thank God Im not African American. Kkkaren might have called SWAT on me. Those women Should be ashamed of their behavior, unprofessionalism and blatant racist conversation in public while wearing safeway name tag.
