Came in this past Saturday night and it was just going to be my husband and I but ended up having 4 friends join us. Not only did we come in late I felt bad because it was close to closing time. However, we ended up having a wonderful time and we were not rushed at all. Our server was Jonathan and he was very nice and attentive to all of our needs! We have not been here in a while but we were actually here a week or two before and was hoping he was working as he is the reason we came back.
If you haven’t been here in a while I would definitely give them another chance!

Prior to new ownership, this was my spouse and I favorite On The Border, and go to dine in restaurant. This evening however solidifies the fact that I will never pay another cent to the company. We were seated at a booth flooded with flies. I asked for my food to not include dairy... (Cheese and sour cream was on my food) My meal arrived without my tortillas. My waiter slapped me on the shoulder twice! (Some people would call it assult)
To top it off... Imagine your waiter asks your spouse for her # for the rewards/check out, and refers to her as girl. My knee jerk reaction, was to ask her, "did he just call you girl? Her controlled and mature response was, Well I am a girl...
The server, whose name is Jonathan notices our displeased/surprised response, however choose only to smurk, and pretend as if he didnt say or do anything wrong.
I feel like everybody is entitled to their biases, and feelings for whatever reason they can imagine up, HOWEVER there are lines you just dont cross. Show respect! If you cant do it as a fellow person in the public, than do it for the sake of correctly representing your company.
But since you cant, I feel like everyone should know
Imagine you're fighting flies all visit, and while eating, getting shoulder slapped by a person, who obviously or likely has 0 respect for you, and to have your spouse deameaningly called girl by a young fella likely in his late 20s early 30s.
I was taught to respect my elders
Society also taught me that when a younger person refers to you as boy or girl, it likely comes from a dismissive place
All good tho
If you're thinking about going to this restaurant, DONT!
n if you must
Avoid Jonathan

Very quiet place at lunch time. Standard Mexican food, tasty and simple. We had a good time talking to each other at lunch.
