I tried to cancel immediately through the app, but there was no option. I called the store right away, hoping they could stop the order, but they said it was already submitted and couldn’t be canceled, even though the extra food was clearly going to go to waste. I went to the store to pick it up in person, and while I was sitting there, the manager started bad-mouthing me to colleagues for trying to cancel the order. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I was told I’d be refunded, but weeks later I still haven’t received anything. To top it off, I was so upset I didn’t even eat the food, since I didn't trust the people serving it, so I paid for nothing. Between the app glitch, poor customer service, and lack of follow-through, this was a really disappointing experience. I expected better from Five Guys. 10/7/25
