- MIMarco Ingenito3 days ago1.0I had asked for a specific match to show on tv. I called twice, the last time when I was leaving home 15 minutes before getting there and they told me I could have watched that match there. I arrived there and they told me that I can't. Don't go there if you are interested in watching something specific because they have their scheduled stuff. 100% disappointed. It was the most important game for my soccer team and I am totally missing it!
- BTBorys Turchyk3 days ago5.0Out of Mr. Pickwick pubs I've been to in Switzerland, I think this one's it the cosiest, and best overall. They keep a range of beers on tap larger than many (and some bottled specials; also their "house" red ale is really nice), it's a fairly large venue, it's quiet during daytime (yet it's open and serves food), and the food is really good (at least the wings and salads that I had). Friendly and welcoming staff. Close to the station. Lovely atmosphere.
- JGJack Gillies1875May 18, 20265.0I visited Mr Pickwick Pub Zug as I was looking for somewhere to have a quick couple of beers with a friend before we went to the EV Zug-Fribourg ice hockey match. I’ve been to a few Mr Pickwick locations in Switzerland including Bern and Luzern but I have to say the experience in Zug was the best! I am from Edinburgh and never in a million years did I think I’d walk into a pub in Switzerland and find a fellow Scotsman working behind the bar! He was an absolute legend and really made the experience especially by recommending a really nice local beer and I have to say the rest of the staff were great as well! Really good location near the station and the walk to the ice hockey arena isn’t bad either so it is ideal for some pre match refreshments. Hopefully I’ll be back in Zug soon to pop my head around the door 🇨🇭🏴
