Nice Japanese afternoon tea. The savoury part was amazing! Desserts were a bit less interesting, and most of them had yuzu; at the end of tasting it is a bit too much of the same taste.
Shame no one told us we could seat inside so we had to melt on the rooftop, and missed out on the tea tasting.
But it’s a nice place and worth visiting!

Outstanding service, ambience, menu and experience. My friend and I had lunch on the roof top patio with an incredible view of Geneva, the Cathedral, old city and lake.
Marcello was highly knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, he described how our drinks were made and how the flavour pairings came to be. This enhanced the entire experience.
The concierge and service from the front doormen was likewise fantastic, Jervem was very helpful in greeting my friend and in getting a reservation at Izumi for our lunch.
This experience made Geneva even more enchanting.

Nous sommes juste venu boire un verre sur la terrasse car nous avions une réservation dans un autre restaurant de l’hôtel, et nous avons super bien été accueilli. Les serveuses/serveurs étaient adorables et très sympathique, un service de qualité et des superbes cocktails bien préparés ! Nous avons hâte de venir y manger prochainement j’espère. Qu’est devenu Izumi???
Un service approximatif : appetizers oubliés, mise en bouche balancée négligemment avec les entrées avant l’arrivée de la bouteille, plats servis froids… sans oublier la salade garnie d’insecte…. La carte des vins avec une marge de x5…. Même plus une blague à ce niveau mais un pur scandale

Unfortunately, during our one-week trip, this was one of the most unnecessary places we visited. Even though we had reserved a table for a special dinner, we were seated on an upper terrace where the view was blocked — essentially an area with air conditioning units and other mechanisms. The view was only visible if you stood up.
The sushi was ordinary, and the complimentary dessert after the meal — matcha cake and frozen grapes — felt quite meaningless and out of place. Prices were extremely high, even for Geneva. The staff was nice, though that did not change the overall impression. Unfortunately, it was not worth it.
