  Das Pförtnerhaus ist eine ganz tolle Adresse, wenn man im schönen Gellert gutes Essen und Trinken möchte. Wir sind immer wieder gerne dort!

  This place has a nice concept of loaded waffles. But to be honest I’ve expected a bit more especially for the price. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t go there unless I would live nearby. I had Roastastic Beef croffle. I expected some juicy meet with melted cheese on it, but it was quite dry. More like what you’d expect from a mediocre sandwich. Menu said it has English cheddar, but I don’t thinks there was any. Slices of cheese tasted much more like some parmesan style cheese. Roastbeef was dry as well, like a store-bought pre-cut beef slices. Soo I can’t really recommend this particular croffle. Food also took a while to arrive. Affogato was fine and sweet waffles also meant to be good.
