As an Italian yes this is shocking. How I found this out, as I ordered light sauce on my pizza and I got home and there was no sauce on my pizza. I called and they let me know. And I find out they do NOT use traditional tomato sauce in any of their pizzas What they do have, which they are calling sauce on their menu is an oil seasoning. So yes, I opened up my box of pizza when I got home with zero tomato sauce. And that is the response I got from the manager is that we don’t use tomato sauce.
