- DRDirk RossApr 2, 20262.0It has been a real bummer shopping at this store. Fairly high prices and every time I go in there is just one check stand open. They funnel you to the self checkout section, and then you are subjected to annoying pop ups for amounts of bags used, charitable donations, etc. Plus the staff tend to be on the surly side. This is why I currently purchase about ninety percent of my grocery items at Trader Joe’s. No self checkout, plenty of open check stands and pleasant staff. Better prices too!

But I've started going to Ralphs on Victory instead, mostly because I'm not sure the staff really gets customer service, or maybe the leadership doesn't. There's a cashier, David, whose lane I always avoid, even if it's the only one open. Plus, there's this guy, Mike, who might be a manager, and I think he could use some more training to understand how to help customers better. With other shopping options and the prices here, you'd think leadership would focus more on a better customer experience. Oh, and the guy in the wine aisle is awesome!

I understand the slicing machines need to be cleaned between customers but not at the expense of ignoring their customers. I have heard other customers complaining for being ignored, so it isn't just me. Management needs to establish their priorities.
