Ricardo in the meat department refuses to serve people even though everything is still out and ready to go. Called him multiple times even made eye contact at one point but he still refused to even say hello, much less do his job. I was not going to leave a review but he actually did this twice now. Other store employee mentioned that others have also complained about him….

Nov. 7, 2025 …. Just today at around 1:45pm, I asked the Vons employee who was refilling the stock near the milk section for help. He was tall enough to reach the Pringles Party size on sale which was at the top shelf. His reply was “ I AM BUSY! Ask someone in front”. What the hell! If someone asks for help, you ask how. Then I said but you’re tall. So despite his hesitation to help me, he started to walk to the chip section while saying “I AM BUSY!!” … This guy needs a refresher course about Customer Service! Too bad I didn’t get his name. He is about 5’9”-5’10”, medium built, brown skinned, with eye glass, in his 50’s probably (unless he just looks old due to his grumpiness).

I have been shopping at Vons/lemon Av for 25 years and I enjoyed it till my last trip on 11/1/25 @ 11:41am. I picked up 3 items, two of which (cookies and bread) were from the discount bin while the soup was on store sale($5:00) from regular price of $6.99 and I went to the check out lane where the cashier was Lourdes. My experience with with her was that she was rude, unpleasant, lazy , grumpy individual and most unprofessional. When it was my turn, I asked her if any items were on sell and she replied 'none' and shook her head. The bill came to around $17:00. I then told her that cookies were from the discount bin and she gave me adjusted bill. I then followed up by telling her that the bread should be discounted. By this time she got irritated but nevertheless, she adjusted the price and presented me the bill. She was muttering and I told her that service could be better. By this time she was yelling and I did not have a chance to question the price of the soup. You will notice that I was OVERCHARGED and before leaving the counter, told her that next time I will bring the Manager in. Her reply was "Go ahead!Call the MANAGER" and pumped her arms. She never even offered to bag me the items. I was totally Disappointed with the attitude of this person! Pathetic and disgraceful exhibition.

Food is outdated on produce and meats. Bought a pack of meat and went to cook next day and it looked grayish and smelled bad. Let them know and they could have cared less. Lettuce did not look fresh. Attitudes on some workers need adjustment. This is now the only store around after Stater Bros. moved and they act like it. This used to be a decent dtore but not now,
