The product selection is very good so that I can get everything I need at one stop. The overall experience shopping is excellent. Unfortunately, overall prices have increased more rapidly at Safeway than at some other markets, including some with equal quality products like produce, wine, and meats. High prices are the reason I downgraded my rating to three stars.

At any time you may find a half eaten pink sprinkle donut lazing alongside the deli meats. They also carry some very nice items but also don't carry regular safeway items. No idea why. However, ALL of the cashiers are rockstars - kind, efficient, and super welcoming. Thus, 5 stars. Good job, Weird Safeway.
