- DWDroski WayadJan 20, 20261.0This review is specifically for the chicken salad sandwich, just wanted to state that other than the pricing being a bit higher than average, I generally have not had any complaints with Panera. The chicken salad sandwich is literally cat food smeared between two slices of bread and would not recommend it to your worst enemy. Which is honestly a shame because I've had it before (a few years ago) and it was delicious, there were shreds of rotisserie chicken, cranberries and walnuts lightly seasoned with a bit of mayo, WAS simple, light, fresh and delicious. It unfortunately has now evolved into a chicken PASTE which literally has the texture of a cat food pate. They have clearly changed the quality control of the ingredients and it is highly unacceptable. I suspect canned chicken or some other highly processed "version" of chicken. Absolutely terrible.

Panera continues to send me ONLY discounts which apply to Delivery Only, and both times Michelle has honored the Discounts by letting me have them while eating In Store. This Panera is WONDERFUL, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!! Thank you, Michelle!
