- KJKrista JabriOct 8, 20255.0Did you know you can host an event at the Nordstrom Marketplace Cafe? I did not, but we hosted my best friend's baby shower here in September and it could not have been a better event. I worked with Jourdan, the General Manager, to arrange all of the details in the months prior to the event. I live in a different state, so I was nervous about planning the shower remotely, but Jourdan made the process so easy. Her communication was flawless and I felt so reassured in their competence to pull this off. What I wasn't prepared for was just how easy the day of the shower turned out to be. They had sectioned off an area of the cafe, set up dining tables, cake table, gift table, etc with linens, table settings, etc. The tables were already dressed with macarons, avocado toasts, and water carafes. The wait staff were so professional and quick to assist the guest throughout the party. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. The drinks were so good and pretty (super Instagram-ready). They had even set up a bouquet making station as an activity for the guests (I wasn't expecting this!) and everyone just loved the simple, elegant, creative activity, rather than cheesy baby shower games. We felt so taken care of and so pleased with the elegance and ease of the whole event. Pricing was also so reasonable, especially with how much we got out of the event. I would hold every event here if I lived in CA. Jourdan and her team are top-notch. Thank you for making my friend's day so special.
