I literally only visit Von's because of these fresh made in store mushrooms (specifically the gouda cheddar ones), each time a week that I visit to grab these mushrooms I end up spending well over 100$ each time. Now that you guys have cheaped out and gone to a vendor that is pumping preservatives for no reason at the cost of ALL THE FLAVOR BEING GONE and the mushrooms being DRY. I have literally no reason to visit Von's anymore. I am not paying the same price for food that's been flash frozen or pumped with chemicals to ship it across the country. The ones made in store are so fresh that they will go bad after a couple days, the ones from the vendor are so full of chemicals that they last over a month in the fridge with no changes or mold. No wonder the vendor ones are VILE tasting. It's actually insulting as well because who had the idea to replace something you make in store with some chemical vendor food from across the world and charge the same price? It's greed like this that kills stores. Nobody wants those nasty vendor mushrooms, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE FRESH, that's why they're always in stock now whereas the fresh ones sell out the same day. If y'all can't see that you're hurting your own business, idk. Because those "Made fresh in store" stuffed mushrooms literally had me buying ALL my groceries at Vons, when I used to NEVER shop there before. Please, I speak for everyone in the community and I know it because those mushrooms are ALWAYS SOLD OUT and now you guys don't even have any at all except for the ones from some nasty vendor which are always there nobody buys them. I know you guys are seeing a drop in profits just from not having these mushrooms. I would literally drive to the one further away if they were sold out here just to get some because I love them so much and so does everyone else in ventura... I just don't get why you would stop serving something that is bringing people to the store and constantly selling out.
