  Ordered DoorDash subs with 6 sauces. They made us completely dry subs, literally left off every sauce we selected. It’s even on their receipt that they had to look at to make our order. The most disappointing sandwich ever and their number isn’t even connected/ correct on google so there’s no way to even contact them and make it right. Worst subway experience ever.

  It is unfortunate how some business hire unsuitable people to manage their establishment. This place use to be my go to location. Unfortunately, now, and unless Pablo is given better customer service training, is demoted, and has developed the ability to speak and listen actively to resolve issues, while maintaining a professional, positive, and empathetic attitude, I will not be coming here again. Nor will I bring or recommend this location (2790 E Thompson Blvd, Ventura, CA 93003) to anybody.

  If I could leave zero stars, I would. On 2/8/26 at 12:40 PM, I visited this Subway with my children and my service dog, and I was flatly denied service because my dog was not wearing a vest or carrying a specific ID. I calmly informed the manager that California law does not require service animals to wear vests or carry identification, but he refused to listen. Under the law, staff are only permitted to ask two specific questions: "Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?" and "What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?" Had he asked, I would have explained that my dog is for my diabetes and is trained for scent detection (alerting to dangerous blood sugar changes), physical alerts like nudging or pawing, and retrieving medical kits or glucose tablets. Even when I offered to simply order our food and eat outside to avoid any further issue, I was still refused service and told I could not spend my money here. The manager, who identified himself as "Pablo" despite his name tag reading "Raul," was incredibly unprofessional. When I asked for information on how to file a formal complaint, he told me to "figure it out" online and claimed he was the only manager I could talk to. To make matters worse, he intentionally gave me a false address for the store, claiming it was 36 Thompson Blvd when it is actually 2790 E Thompson Blvd. As a local resident and long-time customer, I am appalled that a manager would provide false information and ignore accessibility laws. Please, if you are ever in my situation, avoid this location and this chain if they allow managers to act like they own the place while violating the law. Instead, we went to Thompson Blvd Donuts literally next door. Their sandwiches are way better, more affordable, and they were incredibly friendly and compliant with the law. Check them out instead; their sandwiches are huge and filling and you won’t be disappointed.

  Pablo the manager was really helpful and very nice and funny!! he made the sandwhich really good, i recommend this place.
