I placed a mobile order and went to pick it up, but it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any establishment. When I arrived, there was no one in line for in-person orders—several employees were standing around—yet there was a long line of customers waiting for mobile orders. Only one employee appeared to be handling all mobile orders, and it took nearly 10 minutes before my order was even started. While I was waiting, a woman who had clearly just had knee surgery was sitting nearby in visible pain. When she politely asked how much longer her order would take, the employee filling mobile orders began yelling at her, cursing, and even called her “old.” The woman immediately burst into tears. I stepped in and calmly said that her behavior was not acceptable and asked to speak with the manager. The employee then claimed to be the manager, cursed at me as well, and told me to “stay in your own lane.” At that point, I asked for a refund but was told they couldn’t process one, so I left and submitted a complaint. This entire encounter was shocking, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
