  Ventura, Ca location. As a delivery driver, I have now picked up from here 3 times. All three visits problematic. Orders are never ready in a timely manner. When you check in as the driver they will say “working on it” without actually checking. After waiting 10 minutes ask again & then was told we don’t have that order in queue. Apparently was stolen, but as a driver they juts caused me unexpected wait time which has to be reported. On another visit they forgot an item on the order. Customer complained. And 3rd time was the worst, “Hailey” at register, order not ready, I asked her for an ETA & she said she couldn’t give me one. SMH. As a delivery driver we cannot wait more then 10 minutes because we are penalized and must drop the order & leave. I asked her a 2nd time do an ETA & her reply was “I understand your frustration but they are doing the best they can. I appreciate the fake empathy, but that didn’t help. If I was a done in customer and asked “how long will it be? I would expect an answer that included approximate wait time, should be the same for delivery drivers. They seem to be understaffed or workers are standing around not understanding to jump in. The bags should be taped better or stapled. The juice seems to always be low. On a positive, the workers wearing headbands is great and the bathrooms clean. They gotta figure out a better design for the customer line, try directing out the side door. Also as delivery drivers these issues are being reported internally and the overall hat in our groups are, trying to avoid talking calls from CAVA. Much improvement needed.

  This place is AH-MAZING!!! I'm on a Glp-1 & today is day 6 before my shot, I finally had an appetite & wanted something healthy. My boyfriend went across the street to mongokian bbq & i wanted to try CAVA for the first time- new favorite spot! I made my own bowl with baby spinach, white rice, grilled veggies, chicken, & a few other things I don't remember the name of... WOW! My boyfriend & I devoured MY MEAL el oh el. He didn't even want his own food after trying mine. New favorite spot. The customer service was top tear & the food is incredible! I'll be back a million times after tonight!

  I had the pita with lots of hummus, falafel and sweet potato, great for vegetarian folks, which I am not. It was very good. It was not cheap , more on a scale with Luna Grill . All drinks were $3.55 , I got a blueberry . Tab was about $50 for the two of us, and we always add tip.

  My first time trying yesterday, I got the Greek salad. It was such a small portion for the size, and very dry. The atmosphere was extremely chaotic and unpleasant, with crowds of people everywhere. If you order to go, all of the take out bags are sitting on a wall, and it is just very stressful and chaotic. If you order a drink, the cup is in the bag and you have to go fill up your drink and wait in line long, because like I said it was a mad house in there, and also just anyone can go and grab your take out order, there isn't a lot of staff around to observe. My salad was very small, although this was my first time here, I would try it again and maybe a Pita next time, or a more filling bowl. For the expensive price what I personally ordered was not worth it.

  Sunday evening, kind of expected more. Out of many things off about this place, food shouldn't be one of them. Really this is a brand new place, they shouldn't be out of food. Also where was the manager to help staff keep things moving and replenished. Pita bread was cold and gummy. No mixed greens, no broccoli, the lettuce and spinach were wilted. Just overall not a great experience.Will give it a month and try one more time, but don't have my hopes up.
