I've tried them twice. The first time was during COVID. We ordered in advance but the food was late and not great. After several years, I have them another try. It's online at 7:30 for an 8:30 pick up. Got there at 8:20 and texted were here as instructed. At 8:55, got a text the food was ready and would be out shortly... We ordered curb delivery. At 9:15 the did came out. 10 minutes later at home, grabbed a fry from the box and it was cold. We requested ketchup for the fries but none was in the bag. The burger was good but not with all of the delays. I will never order food from lazy dog again.

So bummed I have to leave this review:/ ive been a regular here for years and even was a part of the campfire club, i usually come during the day with my mom and the service is always really great. Love the food and everything. I decided to go into the restaurant last night (4/20) at 10:30 for late night happy hour with 5 of my friends, and when sat in the bar was approached by a waitress ive never seen, because again im always here during the day. Wish i got her name all i noticed was she was a short girl with black hair in a ponytail. She asked me and my bf if we were the only two people dining and i said i had a few people coming in right now and that they were just parking but would be here any second. She proceeded to completely change her attitude towards me and said theyre doing last call soon so we need to be quick. My bf and i have worked in the restaurant industry for 4+ years and have never done last call 30 minutes before closing but i guess each restaurant is different? Anyway i asked what time last call is because they close at 11:00 and she said 10:40. So i said well its 10:30 right now right so we have a couple minutes? And she said “yeah. Can i start you with something right now?” Meanwhile we literally just sat down. I havent even glanced at the happy hour menu. My bf asked for water and i said i had my water with me and then she turned and walked away. I heard her loudly complaining in the bar to her coworker about “well we’re closing the soda stations right now.” And then maybe a single minute later she drops the water off and goes “you said your friends are walking in?” And turns around and starts staring at the door genuinely waiting for them to walk in. I said well i said theyre parking… but i can call them? And she looks at me up and down and says “ya… cause…” with the sassiest tone i have ever experienced from a waitress, coming from a waitress. I immediately got up and left because i will be damned if i am paying money and leaving a tip for someones rude attitude for the job they signed up for and get paid for on my dime by the way. Working in a restaurant comes with certain responsibilities you only experience in food service and i know you always get the argument of “dont come in before close,” but you work at a RESTAURANT with *late night happy hour* and anyone that works at a restaurant, knows that thats literally part of the job. Really disappointed to say this but i should have spoken to a manager when i was there honestly. How embarrassing.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Santa Clarita set the standard, genuinely exceeded even our highest expectations. From the moment we walked in, everything felt right and by the end of the night, we were honestly just sitting there like, wow. Every single dish that came out was nothing short of exceptional, fresh, vibrant, thoughtfully crafted, and presented with such care that you could tell there’s real pride behind that kitchen. Bite after bite, it just kept getting better. It’s rare to be impressed by everything, but they pulled it off effortlessly. And then there’s Taran truly the highlight of the entire evening. I don’t say this lightly, but his level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth is something you don’t come across often. He struck that perfect balance, always present when needed, never intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an all-around great person to interact with. He didn’t just serve us, he elevated the entire experience. He made us feel valued, welcomed, and taken care of in a way that sticks with you long after you leave. We had the Korean fried chicken boa buns, the candy bacon WOW and the feta dip that Tarzan recommended and that was crazy good and he even turned the appetizers into a deal he enlightens us about. Then the bbq ranch burger was phenomenal, fries are so good, huckle berry lemonade chile mango margarita. Then got the full rack of ribs. These were perfectly crispy, taste was great and this sauce they had with it. PH MY GOODNESS To the management: Taran is an absolute standout and a true asset to your team. People like him are the reason guests return again and again. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this one felt deserved. And honestly… Santa Clarita itself? Man, I love it here. Experiences like this are exactly why.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Santa Clarita never disappoints, but this visit was truly on another level. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu has something for everyone, and every bite reminded you why this place has such a loyal following. But honestly, the real star of the evening was our waiter, Taran. From the moment we sat down, he was the definition of professionalism. Attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm, he made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish. His service elevated the entire dining experience. This is the kind of server who makes you want to come back not just for the food, but for the hospitality. To the management at Lazy Dog Santa Clarita: Taran is a true asset to your team and absolutely deserves recognition. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was too good not to share. We will definitely be back!

Very good first time experience here. The food comes in decent sized portions and is filling for a lunch. Lots of options to pick from including salads, sandwiches, and more. The service was good with staff coming by every once in a while to check on the table. The atmosphere is good, felt a bit crowded but is good for lunch with friends.
