Both mangers fail to deal with issues or review video footage or escalate. A culture of coverups and collaboration. These are the type of people that put that kid in jail for eating a fruit cup. I can spot narcism and power control. I’m jut trying to buy a bottle of kombucha. And both managers are guilty of Negligence (failure to take reasonable steps to confirm facts). • Failure to investigate (not following through on a reasonable inquiry). • Breach of duty of care (they had a duty to check evidence before accusing or escalating). • In a legal claim, it might be part of malicious prosecution or false imprisonment if they held you without checking exonerating evidence. • In employment or retail policy terms, it could be considered procedural misconduct or dereliction of duty. They hide behind flipped name tags. Cowards. Thoughts. A few bad eggs at a company don’t just hurt the business—they shift the cost of their mistakes onto everyone else. The employee gets fired, the company pays a fine, and the money comes out of shareholders’ pockets, which means ordinary people’s retirement savings. One person’s misconduct can rot an entire system, because accountability is too often pushed upward instead of placed where it belongs.
