I was asking for help for a TIME-SENSITIVE medication and there was no sense of urgency. She was also very passive aggressive with her remarks and made it seem like it was my fault why there were delays with their process. I hope this improves.

Ordered a character cake and they claimed to have called to tell me the toys on the cake were unavailable. No they didn't. If the rest of cake was still similar, I would have been okay with it but the colors, decoration, orientation of design were all off. Looked nothing like the picture! The trees looked like blobs rather than trees displayed in picture. Colors were a mess too. Almost ruined a child's birthday but luckily found another cake elsewhere. Don't order your custom cakes here!

We had random guests that day and wanted to do a quick surprise birthday. When I came to the bakery, the only vanilla cake they had was Christmas themed. Iman approached me and asked if I needed help. I asked her if there was any way to maybe take off the Christmas cake toppers and put birthday balloons. She told me that the best option would be to make a whole new cake and put balloons on it. She asked if I could wait 10 minutes to make it. I was so grateful she wanted to genuinely help me as it was such quick notice. She made made my day. Thank you Iman. You did a beautiful job as well. Safeway is lucky to have you apart of their team. There have been many times I needed almond croissants or other cakes from the bakery. Each time I order or pick up from them, someone is always there to help and I have never had a bad experience from the bakery. I want to thank the team as well for years of great help and great pastries/ cakes. I never go anywhere else since I moved here 17 years ago.
