We went to Curry Do after my son’s soccer practice. They don’t give you a paper menu, so you have to scan a QR code, which I don’t really like. My wife helped order three dishes.
The food tasted good. But overall, we like the taste better at Maji Curry. Good spot for a quick lunch.

Since all 'Curry House' chain locations closed down, I was looking for a similar one. I finally found 'Curry Do' in Buena Park, but it closed down, so I drove to the Tustin location. I ordered the 'Build Your Own Curry' with regular, rice, mild curry, and chicken katsu. However, the mild curry wasn't what I expected - it was too spicy. Although I enjoy eating jalapeños and spicy food, this time it was too spicy. The waiter told me that they had recently added hot spices to the mild curry sauce, which comes in original, mild, and spicy levels. Before you order, make sure you know your spicy level.

We had an amazing experience at Curry Do, thanks to Astrid, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. She recommended their signature curry plate with katsu chicken, and it was absolutely incredible crispy, flavorful, and comforting in all the right ways. We also tried the fried tofu, shrimp tempura udon, and of course, more of the katsu chicken because it was just that good. The surprise star of the night was the layered crepe cake light, perfectly sweet, and worth every single bite. Astrid is such a gem warm, helpful, and so kind She’s a great addition to the Curry Do team, and I’ll definitely be coming back for all of these dishes again!

Curry Do is a pretty good Japanese curry place. I was glad to find a place closer to me. Our server was very nice and sweet. Pricing was a bit on the expensive side. They're having a deal where kids under 12 eat free on the weekdays. You do have to get one adult meal to get one free kid meal. They also have Happy Hour Monday-Friday 3-7pm.
* Curry with half Chicken Katsu & half Shrimp Tempura 4.5/5 - The curry was yummy. Katsu chicken was crispy. The shrimp was not bad. Only thing is I was told I could do half and half for proteins, but they didn't mention the extra $3 charge.
* Kids Meal 5/5 - I didn't try the food, but it looked good and had nice portions of rice, proteins, and vegetables.
* Strawberry Milk 5/5 - Delicious, creamy strawberry milk with a perfect sweetness.
Curry Do is open every day from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
