His hostility has been so bad that I am highly reluctant to even shop at the location.
- KLKevin Lee3 days ago1.0Worst Vons in town with an assistant manager and cashier who were extremely rude. I went in on Monday evening to purchase Yoplait yogurt that was on sale. I clipped the coupon in the app after scanning the discount bar code at the aisle but upon checkout, the self checkout register did not provide the discount I was supposed to receive. I brought it to the attention of the cashier and showed her my phone app showing the clipped coupon and she claimed that my phone was a piece of crap and I was stressing her out regarding the amount of the discount I should have received from the price listed on the screen - I was merely trying to not hold up a line that was developing. Then one of the assistant managers (dark skin with a gray buzzed haircut/partially bald), who I have had previous issues with and who told me at one point to go back to Vietnam (sorry but I’m Chinese and born here in the US), came over and tried to void my entire transaction and told me to go shop elsewhere. If this is the level of customer service provided at this Vons, corporate should just shut this location down as the Vons on Crenshaw has a better and broader variety and much friendlier staff. Worst customer experience ever, let alone a hostile cashier and assistant manager.
