- JVJanet VickersMar 26, 20262.0Very disappointing experience. I recently started coming back to El Pollo Loco to give it another try, and this visit completely changed my mind. I placed a mobile order that said it would be ready in 8–13 minutes and to go inside for pickup. I arrived before 10 p.m., but the doors were locked. An employee saw me, refused to come to the door, and just pointed me to the drive-thru. There were only 3 cars, but the line was extremely slow. I didn’t get my order until 10:17 p.m. The food was barely warm, drinks were watered down, and when I got home, multiple items were missing (chips, chips & guac), wrong salsa, and no napkins. The bag had clearly been sitting for quite a while. When I called, I was told to come back or return the next day for a refund — not acceptable after that experience. Also noticed staff already mopping with soap well before closing, which was concerning. Overall, poor service, poor quality, and very frustrating. Definitely not the experience I expected.

She has gone multiple times because this is the closest to her. She went today and upon entering was left standing with no one attending or even acknowledging she was there… she was the only customer there since they had just opened. She had to ask if they would take her order and they directed her to the kiosk. She said she didn’t know how to use it so they begrudgingly took her order. Overall they were incredibly rude and dismissive and not a great experience.
