But if I tell you have a good day, I feel the correct response would be to say it back. I know for a fact not everyone even bothers to look at us service workers as people, I get it, I understand the struggle. But ignoring me when I am trying to be nice to you and just looking at me blankly is not the move. Just basic human communication y'all, I'm not asking for perfect service, I know where I am. Whatever is going on at this location that employees look like a couple of interactions away from offing themselves needs to change, and I'm sure this is an issue all across the board because companies don't want to treat workers like human beings.
