I added a 2-liter soda for $5 and paid $5 for delivery. By the time everything got to me, the pizza was not hot or fresh—it was cold, spoiled, and honestly inedible. On top of the $9.99 pizza, the $5 drink, and $5 delivery, I tipped $2—spending about $25 total for food that should have been hot and enjoyable, but instead was a complete disappointment. The receipt said to call if there was any problem, but because I had just had surgery and could not use my left arm, I wasn’t physically able to call right away. A few days later, when I was able to make the call, I explained the situation and asked for a replacement, which I feel was fair under their own guarantee. Instead, I was put on hold for hours and no one ever picked up. This experience was unacceptable. Domino’s used to be known as an affordable, fast option, but this was neither cheap nor reliable. Between the poor quality of the food, the complete lack of customer service, and the fact that I was recovering from major surgery and depending on them for something simple, I feel that Domino’s has truly become one of the worst pizza chains in the world. I usually don’t complain, but under these circumstances, I feel that I was treated unfairly and “done dirty.” Domino’s failed me when I needed them most.
