I tried it so you don’t have to.
The dough was sweet — like it accidentally wandered in from a bakery. Definitely not NYC pizza… unless New York suddenly started putting sugar in everything.
And the size?
It’s a Neapolitan pizza with a growth spurt. Since when does Neapolitan come in “medium-large”?
Overall: fine, edible, confusing.
Like a pizza going through an identity crisis.
I wouldn’t order from here unless it was convenient-only and you were hungry.
The $45 pizza - the price tag isn’t worth it.

The first thing I noticed wasn’t the smell of sausage or pepperoni. It was the fact that my pizza looked like it had been carved by someone philosophically opposed to straight lines.
I ordered the Meat Lovers, double cut and well done. The bake was exactly what I asked for, so no issue there. The problem was the slicing. A proper double cut should give you neat, evenly sized pieces. Instead, I opened the box to a collection of irregular shapes that felt improvised on the spot. Angles that didn’t match. Chunks removed with no pattern. Some pieces so oddly formed they barely qualified as slices at all.
The flavor was still good, the ingredients still solid, but the presentation turned the whole thing into a puzzle rather than a meal. Prince Street usually delivers consistency, which is why this stood out. Pizza this good deserves a bit more respect in the final step.
I hope this was just an off night, because the quality of the slice is still there. It just needs someone with a steadier hand and a better sense of geometry.

One of the best things about being in LA is that often, some of the best food from other cities gets imported into your town. Prince St. Pizza definitely falls into that category.
The pizza is delicious. Why? It's in the water. PSP brings in a water filtration and mineralization system that turns LA water into NYC water, and it pays off big time. It also costs. I'm warning now, PSP's prices aren't cheap.
They offer a wide variety of pies. Some in squares (where PSP shines the most). Some are in the more traditional rounds, but all are delicious. My favorites include the Sunset Square and the Spicy Spring, in which every square centimeter is covered in cupped pepperoni and there's just enough sweetness in the sauce to offset the slight kick. If you end up going enough that you start to tire of the usual pies (I don't know why you would tire of pizza this good), they run special collabs all the time, so you can almost always try something new.
If you're headed to a PSP, the thing to know is that it's a slice shop, not a dine-in experience. You order, grab your slices or pies, and you're out. However, this location provides some seating, unlike the WeHo location, which on the day I visited, wasn't really occupied. So we sat down and enjoyed our slices in-house. The walls are adorned with pictures of the celebs that have dropped by. The Godfather is on the wall, offering you a pizza you can't refuse. And my favorite piece of decor at every PSP location: a sign that says they don't serve ranch.
The service at PSP is certainly nicer than what you'll find in NYC. They keep things moving, but the staff happily answers questions and even checks in on you if you do eat there.
If you read this far, you're probably wondering why I took away a star. For as much as I love the squares, I'm not as much of a fan as I am of the traditional slices. That being said, PSP is still one of the best places for pizza in town.

Prince Street Pizza in Studio City was such a great find! The pizza crust was light and crispy, and the sauce had that perfect balance of sweetness and tang you can really taste the quality. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the flavor and freshness totally make up for it. The restaurant itself is clean and modern, and it wasn’t too crowded when we visited. There are a few patio tables outside too, which is nice on a sunny day. Overall, one of the best pizza places I’ve tried in LA simple or loaded, every slice was amazing!
