He said he was taking steps to improve staffing. He has done nothing! Today I waited thirty minutes which is about average these days waiting in line. Due physical disabilities each time I ask the bagger to not make bags heavy. They ignore me. A perfect example from today is three 64 oz creamers and a carton of ice cream were put in the same bag. I could barely lift it. They don’t care or give a crap and just toss whatever in bag until full. Today was the last straw. After ten years shopping at the country club Safeway I am calling it quits. Management cares nothing about even the small things like spending an hour or two teaching employees how to bag properly. The constant and chronic under staffing continues on and on. Good riddance country club Safeway. There are not these problems at the other Safeway in town or at Savemart either. I will take my approximate $10,000 a year shopping dollars to a business that gives a crap about customer service. That store is a disgrace. I would like to give high props to Fatih who is a long time employee who has always been consistently kind and always helpful to me every single time I have been in the store. For her alone I would give a five star review. Thank you Faith.
- AWAdolph WyrickNov 18, 20251.0I haven't stopped Safeway in over a year now, I live about four blocks away, because of the many times that I went to purchase an item and it was priced wrong on the shelf, I was told by the clerk that I should look at the scan on the package and the scan on the shelf to make sure that they match [this is something that no shopper would ever do, is check every item] so after many times of mispriced items and no help from the management I had to give up on Safeway for I think that their only goal is to make profits and a lot of this profit is from mispriced items, that you 🤔 buy daily, I haven't had any problems with pricing at the new shopping center, Walmart.
