I haven't shopped at our local Safeway for other than flowers for a very long time.....prices being one of the reasons, but I dashed in for a second the other day, since all my errands were nearby. And then I remembered the other reason I haven't shopped Safeway. I bought some tealights that were marked 75% off. Instead, they gave me only 25% off. It was a $12.00 error. I got my refund, but it's happened enough throughout the years to make me wonder and not shop there..having to go back for a refund is inconvenient and a little shifty. So once again I caution the consumer to check your receipts ESPECIALLY on sale items. Goods are high enough as it is.
