  My mom and I had a horrible experience with an employee in the carniceria. The employee (an old man) was extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional towards us when he made a mistake cutting up the wrong type of ham. He went out of his way to speak down to us and make the "issue" a bigger deal than it was. I love coming to this Superior as the produce and food is much better quality that other Superior Grocers much closer to me. But this unprofessional behavior was very unacceptable and disrespectful.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4-Star Review Superior Groceries is a decent option, especially if it’s the main grocery store in your area. For me personally, it felt a bit limiting in terms of grocery variety, and I noticed a stronger focus on alcohol than I expected. What really stood out, though, was the bakery section — it’s unique and definitely the highlight of the store. The pastries are fresh and worth checking out. I also liked that they offer a variety of herbs and chili peppers that you can purchase individually, which is a nice touch. One thing that makes this location different is that it feels more like a mini indoor marketplace. Inside, you’ll find other businesses like a dress/tailor shop (great for quinceañera dresses or alterations), shapewear, a jewelry counter, and even a realtor. It can feel a bit busy and less focused strictly on groceries, almost like a small strip mall inside the store. Overall, I’d give it four stars — it’s a good spot depending on what you’re looking for, and the bakery alone makes it worth a visit!
