Located in the heart of Sonoma wine country, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery offers a unique, historic hospitality center with a barrel room that features antique redwood tanks, original wine making tools, a grand event space, picnic grounds and daily tastings.
Recently visited the Sebastiani tasting room in Sonoma for the third time. I think the first time was 1992 (honeymoon) and 2002-ish (10 yr anniversary). Now we're 32 years into this adventure and spent better part of a morning there after breakfast.
Service was fantastic, wines are excellent and the facility and woodwork are as beautiful as ever. We bought a case and a special bottle of their 1992 Cherryblock for a future celebration.
It's walking distance off the square and well worth a visit, as walk-ins are welcome.

I had a disappointing experience at Sebastiani Vineyard. The grounds felt neglected, and the overall atmosphere lacked the charm I’ve found at other wineries in the region. The staff seemed rushed and uninterested in engaging with guests. The wines were underwhelming, with flat flavors that didn’t live up to the price tag. I left with the impression that quantity mattered more than quality here.

NEVER GO TO THIS WINERY. I went here wine tasting with my wife and we ended up staring at a tractor driven by a man in a hazmat suit spraying obviously toxic chemicals on the grapes. They lie about their grapes, their service is TERRIBLE and overall, a terrible experience. Would NEVER Visit again.

Good wine, although some were not great. Good enough service. Not much was offered in the tasting outside of the menu, which didn’t make me want to purchase any wines or join the club. Nice atmosphere outside of the building.
