Well here is my story... I saw reviews and reels about the last buffet in Canada. So on my bi-yearly trip from Calgary Alberta to Belleville Ont . I decided to go cross country and come to see if this KFC buffet was like the ones I have had in the USA (while I was a truck driver).
So when I went into the restaurant I was greated with such overwhelming smiles and kindness, in my mind I could only think " wow they are too welcoming they must not get much business and they can really put on a fake smile" but as I sat and chatted and started my annihilation of getting my monies worth I began to realize that the staff were not actually putting on fake smile, they seemed to be genuine with the happyness and enjoyment of making the customers feel appreciated and welcome.
There was one staff member , that has been with KFC for many many years, that came over and asked how I liked the food and having the last buffet in Canada. We chatted about a whole bunch of things and he made me feel like a valued customer not just a guy coming to distroy a whole bunch of food at a cheap price.
When I left from the restaurant I went to Ontario and had my vacation, but when I started my return trip back to Calgary, I was not able to shake my thoughts of my experience that I had at a small town SK. KFC. I decided that I would go back on my way back to Calgary.
On this visit I was not expecting the atmosphere and experience to be the same as It was just like the first visit. To my surprise the staff recognized me and was just as friendly as the first time but this time I took notice that everyone of the staff were truly happy and were enjoying the work they were doing and took pride in the food quality and cleanliness of their store.
When I was a very young boy( and I'm getting a bit older) I remember Colonel Sanders saying he wanted his restaurants to be a family oriented business were you could come and have no worries and a valued meal, at a reasonable working mans wage that his whole family could enjoy that would not break the bank and the wife didn't have to work at making supper, were she could relax and enjoy herself too.
Well this location has shown that the fundamental believes of Colonel Sanders are very much alive and are thriving here.
I want to say to all the staff that you really are very special. You make the customer fell like they really are appreciated and welcome, just like family. I must say to anyone traveling you must come to this KFC its an experience that you will prob not forget. Even if you don't have the feelings I have about the atmosphere you should still feel a sense of accomplishment for destroying an all you can stuff Chicken. LOL
Keep up the way above customer service.
I can't really say its customer service its more like true appreciation for life and feeling joy that just flowsovers in every day dealing and is showen in the form of customer service.

Drove from Calgary to try the buffet! The food was hot and fresh. Best KFC I have ever had. The veggies were a nice and unexpected change! A little small and crowded inside but that is to be expected! I didn’t love the fountain pop layout, too cramped and small. Overall delicious and a fun experience!

I ordered the 'All You Can Eat' buffet.
Interesting cultural experience at a cheap price. I ate salad and some steamed vegies and 4 pieces of chicken. Fries and chicken were added regularly to the buffet. Other items seemed to linger. (It was after 2 PM on a Sunday).
Great people watching!

the only all you can eat/buffet kfc in Canada. Something to experience and visit no matter what.
Food price is really affordable. (knowing that its a buffet)
just a few variety and options of food tho.
everything is greesy and oily, if you're sensitive, health and body consious, maybe stick to the regular kfc franchise.
not that busy when we ate there so it was overall a good experience, we can always go back and grab if we wanted more.
new plate is ready for you to grab every time you finish your meal.
food is always refilled, so no waiting time.
1 washroom/gender. so just watch out your oily food intake.
one time experience is good enough. one for the books tho. especially for a chicken lover like me.

It was our first time in at this KFC branch. I was surprised to know that it was the LAST KFC that offers a buffet in the entire Canada!
People:
I would like to commend the entire team for their efforts to keep up with the number of customers. I can feel and see their sturggle to keep up and yet they are powering through. I would like to highlight the ypung lad who was very patient to clarify the orders of the old lady before me in the counter and was trying his best to ensure they got her order correct. What greatly surprised me was he made an effort to strike a conversation which I highly enjoyed. Nowadays, most fastfood restaurants are just transactional. Kudos to him for choosing to be at work despite his friends are out in Estevan enjoying the fair.
Food:
I paid around 17 CAD for the buffet. Quite a good deal actually considering the spread. All the fixins are there plus DESSERT! A couple of jellies but at least there's something. The quality is the same as what you would get if you would order a meal. Which is great. At least they didn't compromise the taste just because it goes to the buffet.
Overall, I would love to comeback. I wish the top management or the franchisee would hear out it's employees and ask what they can do to address whatever the bottleneck in the operation is.
To the team, you are doing great! Keep up the great job and see you again soon!
