  On June 25 at around 5:30 PM evening, my brother and I visited New York Fries at Midtown Plaza and ordered two small Butter Chicken Fries. Unfortunately, both orders had undercooked fries, so we politely went back to let the staff know. The food issue itself wasn't the biggest problem, what disappointed us was the way we were treated. A male employee called over a female employee a tall lady who came from the back. Instead of listening, she immediately asked, "What's your problem?" in a rude tone. I explained that the fries were undercooked and showed them to the male employee. When I asked her to check the fries, she sarcastically replied, "How can I eat the fries and check?" I never asked her to taste them—I simply asked her to inspect whether they were properly cooked. She then said, "Okay, now I can make another one," but in a very harsh and sarcastic manner. Everyone makes mistakes, and I completely understand that. If she had simply apologized and offered to replace the fries politely, I would have happily accepted. The real issue was her attitude and complete lack of respect toward customers. As I was leaving, I calmly told her, "Please speak politely to your customers." Instead of responding professionally, she sarcastically said, "Oh, what kind of polite do you need? I will be like this," and repeatedly told me to "just go from here." Is this really how paying customers should be treated for politely reporting undercooked food? Customer service is just as important as food quality. We came to enjoy a meal, not to be spoken to with sarcasm, attitude, and disrespect. I sincerely hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and addresses this employee's behavior. A respectful attitude towards customers is essential, and if this kind of behavior continues, it will only drive customers away.

  Came to the mall yesterday for some casual shopping, came across newyorkfries and had their classic poutine. Was super delicious and service was very fast!

  Great fries and friendly service. The fries were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous. The staff were welcoming and the food came out quickly. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving fries!

  We came here for large butter chicken poutine, my car declined few times while i was trying to pay and staff was really great and came up to help us in every possible way. We never had this amazing service in lifetime. Butter chicken poutine was really delicious.
