  Slightly disappointed, Tom Yum soup is my favourite soup, I love shrimp Tom Yum. This is a fall go to for me. Today I had been craving Tom Yum all day, I decided I would drop in and order myself a bowl. I was saddened to see that there is only chicken Tom Yum on the menu board. Not the end of the world so I ordered the chicken Tom Yum. The young man behind the counter tells sorry we don’t have any Tom Yum, we only have Beef Thai soup. Again not the end of the world but disappointing. Okay I will try the Beef Thai soup with coconut milk. He proceeds to tell me that they don’t have coconut milk. I was starting to get frustrated. I bought my soup and went to the store to purchase coconut milk. It’ll be a very long time before I go to Thai Express again. Costco even carries Tom Yum and coconut milk.

  They clearly don’t know how to properly cook stir-fried dishes. The eggs were cooked to the point that they had the texture of tofu, and the food had a strange smell. I used to enjoy Thai Express and have eaten at many of their locations, but this was by far the worst one I’ve ever had. I took two bites and threw the rest away. It didn’t even feel like food.
