- DFDennis FJun 26, 20265.0I don’t usually eat at restaurant chains, but I had the opportunity to try Papa John’s on North Albert Street last week, and I was genuinely impressed. The pizza was absolutely amazing from start to finish. You can immediately tell they’re using high-quality ingredients. The crust was fresh with the perfect texture, the cheese was rich and flavourful, and the toppings were generous and tasted fresh. The biggest surprise was the pepperoni. It had a unique flavour unlike any pepperoni I’ve had before—slightly smoky, perfectly seasoned, and with a noticeably higher-quality taste than what you typically find at chain pizza restaurants. It really elevated the entire pizza. I went in with fairly modest expectations but left thoroughly impressed. If this is the standard they consistently deliver, I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
