This is the best clean big box grocery store near by. In comparison to a Whole Foods if you stop by Sprouts and Trader Joes first. Biggest problem is that Albertsons owns most, if not all, Vons and Pavilions stores. They short staff to maximize profits which can create long lines. The CEO is paid roughly $20M a year + bonuses. I think he/she could certainly take a cut in pay to staff these stores properly and still clear $10M a year in salary. The grocery market margins are so tight, kind of makes you wonder why they would pay a CEO that much, when eventually in 3 years tops the checkers and box boy/girls will be replaced with Optimus. It is clear this CEO is only looking out for him/herself. Message to crazy people. My comments about the CEO salary is the way life goes. You fake until you make it. He or she is not a bad person, I am sure of that. He/she is doing their job by keeping down overhead. My only issue is just pack the house with as much senior workers as possible until that Optimus train arrives. So your overhead takes a hit for 3 years, your customers are happy, and will be prepared for the speed of Optimus automation.

Produce department is usually good but lately every week, the organic strawberries are old and mushy. Someone needs to pay attention because every time I stop in, they are old.

Won’t be ordering from the drive-up pickup anymore as my last few orders the person has left out $20-$40 worth of stuff I’ve purchased every single time, over it.

Their ethnic section is expanding. Usually have well stocked items, although lately I'm having trouble in the breakfast freezer section. They tend to have plenty of cashiers and there's plenty of self check out stands.
