- KKKatelynAug 6, 20205.0Wow, just had a very good experience at the first ever Dairy Queen, right here in our backyard of Simi Valley. You can feel the history through the black and white photos on the wall and vintage ceiling fans which obviously haven’t been changed since opening day. The rustic atmosphere really sold the original Dairy Queen experience. I thought the visit couldn’t get any better until our waiter flipped over our ice cream and defied all laws of gravity, a feature only given at the original Dairy Queen. I will definitely be returning to the original Dairy Queen in the future.
