I had a very disappointing experience here today, mainly due to staff attitude and poor customer service.
While waiting, I witnessed an elderly woman being helped at the counter. She spoke clearly and was simply trying to place her order. A woman who appeared to be a manager (she had driven up in her car and came inside) was yelling at her in a very rude and impatient tone, repeatedly demanding “small, medium, or large” instead of calmly helping her. Another customer even stepped in to help the elderly woman because of how uncomfortable the situation was. The employee assisting her looked visibly annoyed and gave her rude looks, as if she was tired of dealing with her.
After that, I went up to place a quick order for a chocolate sundae. One of the employees immediately told me to use the touchscreen kiosk. I explained I was just placing a quick order. She looked irritated, as if she doubted or challenged what I said, before reluctantly placing the order for me. A male manager came by and brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal instead of actually addressing the attitude issue.
To make things worse, the sundae itself felt careless and almost petty. The hot fudge was barely on top, not mixed or distributed at all, and there was very little of it. You can see it only on the sides of the cup, with almost nothing throughout the rest. It honestly felt like the quality suffered after I spoke up.
Between the rude treatment of an elderly customer, the dismissive attitude toward my concern, and the poorly made order, this location felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. Respect and basic courtesy should be standard, especially toward seniors and paying customers.
