This was our first time here. I ordered the house breakfast with a waffle and my husband had the surf and tied chilaquilas. My eggs were cooked nicely, the waffle was cooked well. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. They provide plenty of butter, and they had sugar free syrup when I asked. My husband’s meal was very tasty. He’s not a big fan of spice so he thought they were spicy whereas I didn’t but I am someone who enjoys spice more. The coffee was good and hot. The service was great. Our server Lenore was very friendly and professional. The food was delivered to our table very quickly and our used dishes were cleared pretty efficiently. It’s obvious the staff here work very hard. Pleasant environment, but can be pretty lively. I would come here again :)

Big servi is i had an omelet my friend had baskets and gravy, very filling
There are times I would drive from Chula Vista (and I don’t mind it at all) just to have breakfast here and the whole entire staff, especially the waitresses/waiters and Tracy are very friendly, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was very delicious and especially the veggie omelette is one of the best from all the restaurants I ate breakfast at all around the San Diego County. I’m so looking forward to returning there just to have breakfast.

Originally I had left a 5 star review due to finally having good biscuits and gravy in California.
However, the past three visits have been terrible.
I recommended my parents to this place and they said their chilaquiles were stale and cold and I didn’t believe them since I’ve always gotten amazing food and service.
Well they weren’t wrong. I went back three times back to back giving them several chances, and each time it got worse.
When I went back with my family we got our food at separate times and some of it was cold. Wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Last time I ordered soup and it was very cold in the middle.
The nail to the coffin was when I had the Yucatán Chilaquiles. The Cochinita Pibil was cold and the tortillas were incredibly stale.
After coming here over 100 times. I am for sure done with this place. You lost a life long customer. I understand once, but three times in a row you have an issue that needs to be addressed.
Came here for breakfast around 9 on a Friday with my girlfriend after a hike. It was not busy at all so we were seated right away. We chose to sit in a booth. We were asked about drinks right away and given time to look over the menu. We ordered the All Meat Omelet and the Athenian Omelet. The omelets come with choice of potatoes and bread. I opted for hash brown and biscuit, while my girlfriend chose the southern style potatoes and sourdough toast. Our food was prepared and brought out very quickly. The omelets were really good. The potatoes were good too. The biscuit is got was big, warm and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive. The noise and atmosphere is as expected with a breakfast restaurant. There are separate bathrooms, which were clean. I would come back again if ever in the area.
